Cut in mirror image through the adhesive layer to the plastic backing, weed excess material, and lay the pattern on the fabric. Then cover the design area with paper or cloth. Apply heat transfer at 320°F for 15 seconds with medium pressure and peel away backing sheet when transfer is cool. When you wash and dry do not exceed normal temperatures of 180°F. Use a release paper or Teflon sheet placed between the heat platen and the plastic carrier sheet to prevent sticking and edge damage to the transferred design.

You can heat press ThermoFlex® Sport at a relatively low (300° F - 320° F) temperature and short dwell time (8-10 seconds), which minimizes dye migration from colored polyester jersey mesh.

You can transfer ThermoFlex® Sport to nylon jersey well using the lowest temperature (300° F) and the shortest dwell time (8 seconds).
